Slow mo testing

Right I as you will have now have been told if you read this blog shoot all my film on a Nikon D90 camera.

It being primaraly a stills camera has its draw backs and sticking with in them is what makes the footage from it useable.

One of the many draw backs is the low 24fps frame rate it shoots at.

Now for some things this is a good thing as it gives a more cinematic feel to the footage but when shooting fast moving objects such as rapid Dh riders you want a fast fps so slow mos are smoother.

So i have steered clear of them up till now. had a play about and aslong as you dont push it to far i think it looks alright...

Let me know what you think of it as it may creep in to a few of my next few edits.

Ta Jacob
